Executive Chef Careers
Executive chefs are responsible for planning menus, recruiting and training culinary teams for a wide range of fine dining establishments in most ski towns. Executive Chefs work in conjunction with Food & Beverage Managers to insure the quality of the food and the guests' dining experience.
Information Technology Developer
Information technology developers design, test and maintain software applications for resort operations that include Central Reservations, Accounting, Property Management systems, Marketing and web applications.
Ski Lift Mechanic
Ski lift mechanics perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on chairlifts, surface lifts and other related equipment for use during year round operation.
Night Security Patroller
Night security patrollers conduct routine patrols of the resort and its associated properties. They insure protection and security of guests and report incidents, accidents and emergencies to the proper authorities.
Payroll coordinators insure the proper and timely processing of hourly and salaried payrolls using a variety of payroll and human resources systems.
Property managers supervise, schedule and provide guidance for a wide variety of staff, including housekeepers and maintenance workers. They insure that guests are billed in a timely manner and provide timesheets and payroll for employees of their properties. Property managers are also charged with maintaining the overall quality of service and increasing business volume by insuring that guests return to their winter resort.
Purchasing buyers procure uniforms, office supplies, printed materials and other supplies necessary for the proper functioning of departments throughout the resort.
Warehouse staff members manage the receipt and delivery of supplies to all departments throughout the resort, maintain delivery records, perform inventory functions and ship and receive packages and vehicles.
