According to the Kottke National End of Season Survey, during the 2006-2007 ski season, there were 485 operating ski resorts in the United States - down from a high of 727 ski resorts in 1985. If you'd like to work for one of these resorts, a good place to start is by searching for the names of ski resorts on the Internet.
